A developer, on approaching a financier, often tries to get inside the financier’s mind to understand exactly what they’re likely to look for. The answer is that the financier sees all the individual aspects of a development as being not unlike an orchestra; one player out of tune can have a catastrophic effect, but one great soloist cannot carry the day.
